My son 11 years old had been out of education for about 6 months due to school anxiety and trauma. He had completely shut down and lost all trust in adults outside of his safe circle and was so behind educationally. Then along came Laura. Laura spent a long time building a trusting ,working relationship with him, giving him the confidence to try things he previously found challenging, giving him strategies to use to uncomplicate challenging tasks. He now is so confident in his ability to learn new things. His reading, writing, maths and overall attitude to learning has dramatically improved. As a Mum I spent everyday of school, a six year period dragging my son to school he was so distressed and sad. He looks forward every week to working with Laura, as a family cannot thank her enough for everything she has done for us.
